It's a crying shame this place looks like it did 2 years ago when i last visited.

What have i been doing in those two years?

Since my last visit i have sold quarter of a million pines and spruce.

Launched an online store www.foreststart.com (a bit of shameless self promotion there)

Sorry this place never took off.
Starting Out - Advice Please
Hi everyone,

I am looking at setting up in business but need to do some research before hand.  Anyone have some suggestions as to where I can find/get some information.  Also could do with some suggestions as to where to look for land to do this, currently live in the West Midlands but agricultural land is too expensive.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Traditionally, placing Holly wreaths at the doors were the only decorations.
The concept of Christmas tree arrived much later. In the pre-Christian times finding Holly bushes with berries was quite easy and was considered fortunate for the families. Disease/Pests
I have a number of 3-4 year old Noble/Nordmann trees put in, They were doing reansonably ok up to this year but have taken a hammering with a large ammount of especially the noble turning partial red/brown, not sure if its disease/Pest or harsh year causing the trouble, no obvious sign of pest and on a reasonably fertile free draining land. Will attach some photos of damage, Just wondering has anyone else seen this also..

Severe cold spring 2013
Hows the 2nd coldest spring to date affected your growing?

For me it means a severe delay in germinating and I'm 5 weeks behind now. I've just sown 10,000 Sydney blue gum seeds so I'm hoping we've almost seen the last of the extreme cold.
